A special tribute was made recently at the Edmonton International Airport, as a magnificent work of art entitled, "Canadian Pride" was unveiled. Thanks to generous donations to Edmonton's Food Bank from ATB, Edmonton Eskimos, EIA and Purolator Tackle Hunger, this uniquely Canadian gift illustrates our national pride. This amazingly detailed work measures 13 feet long by 4 feet wide, and took five and a half years to complete, using 115 ballpoint pens. Mr. Flower, who hails from rural Alberta, west of Edmonton, has generously donated the sale and any reproductions of "Canadian Pride" to Edmonton's Food Bank. "Just like each stroke in Ted Flower's Canadian Pride makes a difference, each one of us can make a difference and do some good in the world."-Marjorie Bencz, Executive Director, Edmonton's Food Bank.
