Past, Present & Future of the Union Bank Inn
The building was originally built in 1910 for the Union Bank Of Canada. Costing $60,000, the building was described as having a Modern Renaissance Style featuring a Unique Stone Façade. After sitting vacant for a number of years, it was taken over by Diane Buchanan, and her vision is what we see today. The Union Bank Inn opened in 1997, with 14 designer showcase Guestrooms and presented a Historic Designation Award that we display proudly! In 2000 an addition was added featuring 20 modern guestrooms and the Giverny Ballroom. By 2003 Shelley and Wes Klein joined ownership with Diane Buchanan an remain strong leaders and partners. Fast forward to 2017, the Union Bank Inn undertakes another Renaissance. The second floor, previously showcasing the Giverny Ballroom, will be transformed into 6 ultra-luxurious Guestrooms, 5 of which will be King Suites. 2017 also marks our 20th Anniversary, refer to our website for many celebratory promotions!
